It’s Never Too Early to Start Looking After Your Chompers!
We should learn how to fight Sugarbugs well before our first chompers break through! The ADA and AAPD recommend the first dental checkup by the time a child is 1 year old, and latest by their 2nd birthday!

It takes a whole team to look after your shiny brights, including mum, dad and also your dental crew.

We are always here to help. From birth until 18 years old, we will be your dental training grounds. You can never have too much practise, and you can never ask a question too silly!

Getting older...
By this stage, changing over from baby teeth to adult teeth should be pretty routine. At 10-11 years of age, we screen for correct alignment of the permanent canines, as well as ongoing health checks.
How are you enjoying teething so far? It's a magical time, isn't it. Unfortunately there is no "wonderfix", but we have some practical tips to help both bub and parent troop on through.
More teeth!
By 16 to 20 months of age, your little tyke should have all their incisors, canines and first baby molars.
Almost there.
The first adult teeth will start to peek up around 6 years of age, starting with the bottom front chompies, and the big back molars! This is a great time to check for any enamel defects.

At around ~4-6 months, your bub will likely get their first tooth!
That's right, I said "almost there" and "first baby molars". Between the age of 2 and 2½, your little monster, or angel, has the full primary set of chompers!
